Art is Nothing.

Art is nothing.

On its own, it’s mud smeared on dead trees.

It’s metal clanging.

Art is nothing.

But,

When art finds people,

When art creates tears to share,

When art creates laughs to try and fail to hold in,

When art puts your hand in someone else’s,

When art tells a little kid that they matter,

When art tells a grown up that they still do,

That’s when art is everything.
